Car catches on fire during I-80 accident near Potter

A Boston man is injured after swerving to miss hitting an animal on Interstate 80.

Shortly before 3 p.m. Monday, 29-year-old Michael Lee was driving eastbound near the Potter interchange.

Trooper Jay Petersen says Lee swerved; causing his vehicle to go into the embankment and catch fire.

He was wearing his seatbelt and was transported to Regional West Medical Center, and is listed in fair condition.
