Cased dismissed against man who flew 195-pounds of marijuana into Alliance

Posted: Updated:

A U.S. District Judge dismisses charges against a man whose plane was found with 195-pounds of pot at the Alliance Airport.

Justin Woodcock was charged with possession with intent to distribute.

The case was thrown out because Woodcock's lawyer was successful in getting the initial search warrant thrown out.

As part of the agreement of the case, Woodcock agreed to forfeit the airplane.

Alliance Police Chief John Kiss did not return a phone call on whether or not the Alliance Police Department would get to keep the seized plane.
