Local business giving back to Veteran's home

Posted: Updated:

Residents of the Western Nebraska Veterans Home will benefit from the generosity of one local company again this holiday season.

This year marks the 12th year that Fred Lockwood and Company has teamed up with the community to provide Christmas gifts for veterans at the home.

If you would like to participate you can go to the mall, by the Herbergers entrance and pick an ornament off the giving tree.

The ornament will be listed with three things the veteran would like this holiday season.

"It's definitely a touchy feely type of thing that we do here its, it is a good feeling that FALCO is able to be apart of it, that the monument mall allows us to put the tree out there and the vets home allow us to do this."

You can drop off the gifts or a cash donation at the FALCO company offices by December 14th.
