Scottsbluff accident sends one to the hospital

One person is treated for injuries following a two car accident in Scottsbluff this morning.

The accident happened at the intersection of 20^th Street and 11^th Avenue. The two cars eastbound and westbound on 20^th, and both had green lights.

Sergeant Phillip Eckerberg says a westbound Saturn attempted to make a left hand turn onto 11^th Avenue.

The car struck an eastbound pickup as they made the turn.

Police confirm that one person was transported to Regional West Medical Center for injuries.

The names of the people involved have not yet been released by the Scottsbluff Police Department.
