Today people throughout the Panhandle gathered to show support for the Native American population.
Systems of Care, an organization designed to help troubled native American youth, Is on a tour of the Panhandle, spreading its message about ways to help the community.
Doctor LaNada War Jack was also on hand, delivering a message supporting healthy futures for all people.
The Organization's Co-Director Theresa Dameron is committed to bringing this message out into the public eye.
"We've been saying this for a while, that things are not right and they're not working well for out kids. If anybody deserves a less burden, it's our children and so I think the commitment from the tribal leaders and the community leaders was to make a better system of care for out native American youth."
Dameron believes with the public's help, the group can help youth struggling with suicidal thoughts and depression.
