Kimball City Employee convicted for assault

A Kimball City Employee is in hot water after assaulting a customer.

Water Supervisor Dave Ford has been convicted of assaulting a city water customer during an August dispute over who should have to repair a water leak.

Ford pushed or grabbed the Kimball resident while the two were arguing over who should fix the problem.

A City Administrator says ford was disciplined after the altercation, but the city allowed him to keep his job.

Ford will be sentenced January 9th.
