The Nebraska Legislature is getting a makeover.
The new leaders, more moderate senators and return of Ernie Chambers, will bring change to the Nebraska Legislature.
There will be a turnover in leadership with Speaker Mike Flood, Appropriations Committee Chairman Lavon Heidemann and U.S. Senator Deb Fischer leaving due to term limits.
Senator Greg Adams is the only announced Candidate for Speaker so far.
Adams says the legislature will definitely have a new face but he's confident new leaders are energetic and will step up to the plate.
The biggest change will be the return of Chambers, the 75 year old lawmaker is coming back after sitting out because of term limits.
