Heineman invites the public for an open house in Lincoln

If you happen to be in Lincoln this weekend, the Governor invites you to his house.

The Governor and First Lady will host an open house this Sunday from 3–pm to 5–pm, following the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. First Lady Sally Ganem calls this a "wonderful opportunity for any citizen to visit and see the home when it is decorated for the holidays."

The first lady's cookbook, "Inspired recipes from Nebraska," will also be on sale.

If you are unable to attend this weekend, the residence is open for public tours most Thursday's from 1 to 4 pm.
