The Panhandle Humane Society is looking for volunteers to help with their fresh new batch of puppies.
The puppies are mostly five–month old German Shepard mix who come from a home that simply "had too many dogs" says director Cathy McDaniel. Volunteers are needed to help socialize the dogs and put them on a path to a future home. McDaniel is confident that will be the case with all of them, after some time.
"They just have never known that love, but they're hungry for it, you can see they're hungry for that love and attention so you know it's not going to take forever. It's going to take some time but I think they're on their way to being a great pet for somebody," says McDaniel.
