The Western Nebraska Regional Airport held an Aviation Education Day for local elementary classes.
The airport teamed up with the Western Nebraska Community College's Sidney Aviation Maintenance School.
The school is the only of its kind offered in Nebraska.
W.N.C.C brought an airplane engine to demonstrate and show the kids how they actual flying.
Erin Huddleston, an Admission's Counselor at W.N.C.C says she hopes the kids are enthusiastic about Aviation as a career choice.
"That aviation is growing, there are jobs out there and it's not just flying. There's aviation maintenance jobs, airframe jobs, power plant jobs. Just so much in aviation."
The airport says they hope the kids had a fun, but got learning experience as well.
