Nebraska Latino American Commission asking students to go take pictures

Posted: Updated:

Nebraska youth is being asked to get out and photograph.

The Nebraska Latino American Commission wants young people to participate in a statewide photo exhibit.

The theme of the exhibit is focused around the Latino community.

The commission says students should submit work showing Latinos in Nebraska going about their everyday lives.

Photos must be taken in Nebraska, but can include people of all tonicities.

The group says the exhibit's goal is to dispel misconceptions about the Latino community.

Middle School, High School and College students can submit up to three photos until January 9th.
