U.S. Senator Ben Nelson says he's frustrated by the divide in Washington, but that's not why he is retiring from the Senate.
Nelson says a plea from one of his grown children for more of his time led him to leave the Senate. He also says he is most proud of the "Gang of Fourteen" where seven Democrats and seven Republicans who came together to avoid a filibuster over judicial nominees.
Nelson's last day in the Senate will be January 3rd.
