Scotts Bluff County still looking for 125th logo submissions

Scotts Bluff County is looking for more entries in the county's logo contest.
A stenciled image of the Scotts Bluff National Monument has been the county's symbol for years. The new design would be distributed next year as part of the county's 125th anniversary.
Scotts Bluff County tourism director Brenda Leisy says the logo from the County's centennial is just a little bit dated. "The 100 year, they really concentrated on the centennial and the history- that part of it," explains Leisy, "So that's why we left it wide open. Because 25 years later, things have changed, things are different, so we wanted to see how people feel."
Leisy says the logo can be anything that shows what the county means to people.
Participants may submit their designs to Leisy at the Farm And Ranch Museum or Kim Lang at the county administration building in Gering by the deadline of 3 p.m. on Dec. 31.
