Hershey man sentenced for sexual assault

A Hershey man has been sentenced to 20 to 30years for sexually assaulting a twelve–year old girl.

Police say Stephen Fischer assaulted the girl on at least two different occasions in 2011 and was sentenced Monday. Fischer's attorney, Blaine Gillette says the sexual assault occurred in the wake of Fischer's brothers death and alcohol abuse could have contributed to the behavior.

However Judge Richard Birch says Fischer required a lengthy sentence because of failure to follow through with treatment from previous convictions.
