Gering school administration could get new building

Gering Public School administrators may get a new building.

The school board is considering purchasing the Western Heritage Credit Union offices on 10th street. The district's IT staff would move into the current admin building.

Board President Mike Brunner says the district could use the extra space.

Before anything is official, the school board will hold a public hearing to discuss the issue next month.
