In what may be his last press conference call, Senator Ben Nelson called for partnership, not partisanship.
Nelson says members of Congress need to rally together to help our country move forward.
He calls the deadline for the fiscal cliff tight, but is optimistic that our leaders will find common ground.
"Congress needs to change its math, and by that I mean, members of Congress need to be more concerned with addition and multiplication and less about division and subtraction when it comes to tapping our country's greatest challenges," says Nelson.
Nelson says he'll work for the betterment of the state, even when he is out of office.
