Meanwhile, a restaurant at the base of the Scottsbluff National Monument is in need of new management.
The City of Gering is requesting interest letters from entrepreneurs.
They're looking for a new restaurant operator who's committed to establishing a restaurant that provides unique quality, sets the image of the public golf course and provides new dining options for locals.
The restaurant draws more than 200,000 visitors a year.
If interested, the city asks in your letter you present ideas on how you would make the restaurant a destination spot for Scottsbluff and its neighboring cities.
Letters of interest should be mailed to the city by Friday January 18.
