Unemployment rates significantly drop in Nebraska

November's unemployment rates are in and the results will bring holiday cheer to Nebraska.

The Nebraska Department of Labor workers say the state's unemployment rate dropped to 3.7% in November.

The rate is the lowest its been in four years.

The rate was down from October's 3.8% and way below the 4.3% a year ago.

Labor Commissioners say the last time the monthly rate was this low was in 2008.

In comparison to the 7.7% national rate, Nebraska's November rate was less than half.
