A Panhandle school is starting its Christmas Break early.
Saint Agnes Academy in Alliance has closed early for the holidays due to a number of illnesses.
The school shut its doors yesterday after a local doctor's recommendation.
The spread of the Flu has 12 of the 137 students out sick.
Due to the increase of respiratory illness in the town, no kids under 18 are allowed to visit Box Butte General Hospital.
Only children needing medical testing or treatment are allowed.
Saint Agnes Academy will reopen January 7th.
