GPS Devices can help you get around, but law enforcement officers used one for something else, to catch a criminal.
This Summer WING Investigators attached a GPS Device to a vehicle suspected of being used in drug trafficking.
The wing task force learned about the trafficking from a Confidential Informant.
A Scotts Bluff County Sheriff's Deputy stopped the car on Highway 91 and smelled Marijuana in the car. WING Task Members searched the vehicle and found more than a pound of Marijuana.
27 year old Robert Taylor, the driver, was in court this week.
He agreed to a Plea Agreement on drug charges but pleaded no contest to attempted delivery of a controlled substance.
Taylor's sentencing is scheduled on February 4th.
