Boxing Day to be celebrated at Agate Fossil Beds

A traditional British holiday is once again celebrated here in KOTA Territory.

Agate Fossil Beds in Harrison, Nebraska is celebrating its 14th annual Boxing Day open house today.

The original founders of ranch at Agate Fossil Beds celebrated the holiday by inviting neighbors over for wine and cheese and relaxation.

The tradition carries on at the museum, with staff and visitors enjoying food, drink, and live music.

Canned good donations are being collected today to be distributed to local food pantries to help restock after the holidays.
