Ice jams could cause flooding problems in North Platte river

The North Platte river is running as usual through Scottsbluff, but that's not the case in other areas of Nebraska.

Ice jams have hampered the flow of water, fortunately there is no major flooding.

The National Weather Service has issued warnings for stretches of the river in Lincoln and Garden counties.

The weather service says the jams will likely remain in place because of the cold weather.
