Governor Heineman got some interesting guests this Christmas.
Opponents of the Keystone XL Pipeline wore holiday costumes portraying Dr. Suess' Cindy loo Hou and the Grinch as they urged the Governor to reject the project.
Members of the group "Bold Nebraska" brought gifts for the Governor in protest of the transnational pipeline.
The Grinch left flip flops with the message, don't flip flop on protecting the Ogallala Aquifier and to deny the proposed route.
Cindy Lou Hoo brought a photo of a Nebraska farm family who oppose the project.
The pipeline would move oil from Canada to Texas.
Heineman expects a recommendation from Nebraska's Environmental Quality Agency by early January.
