Wyoming to have extra Patrol on New Years Eve

Posted: Updated:

Tis' the season for State Patrol to give out D.U.Is.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol will put extra troopers on the road to look for impaired drivers on New Year's Eve.

The extra patrolmen are prepared just to look for drunk drivers or people driving under the influence of drugs.

The state hopes the D.U.I Saturation Enforcement Campaign will educate the public about D.U.I laws, and enforce the state's no tolerance stance on impaired driving.

The funding for the campaign comes from a Federal Grant to the Wyoming Department of Transportation's Highway Safety Office.
