A 77 year old Scottsbluff man is under some pressure after authorities say he made a false report to a crop insurance company.
Oscar Lovelace was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury on two counts of making false statements.
In 2009 Lovelace allegedly failed to report all crop production to a crop insurance company.
After making the false report, the Indictment claims he received an insurance payout about $3,500 higher than it should have been.
A second count accuses Lovelace of turning in a false production and worksheet summary, as well as a production and acreage report in 2011.
If convicted he faces up to 30 years in prison, a million dollar fine, five years of supervised release and a $100 special assessment on each count.
