People in the Panhandle will again be able to celebrate the New Year with a bang.
Firework stores across Scottsbluff will be open for a few days up until New Years Eve. Store owners say that business isn't as busy as the Forth of July but believe people will still celebrate the new year with their favorite fireworks.
Owner Eric Wilcox believes fireworks ads an exciting element to the new year.
"I think it just gives them another alternative than just sitting around the house and playing board games. The old bring in new years with a bang comes into mind," says Wilcox.
Those looking forward to celebrating with fireworks will only be allowed to do so between 4:30 pm on New Years Eve to 12:30 am on New Years Day.
