People in Panhandle respond to Fiscal Cliff

Posted: Updated:

With so much talk about the Fiscal Cliff and what it could mean to America, there is still much debate to whether it is something to worry about at all.

If a deal cannot be reached in the next two days, some say the United States could be on the brink of another recession.   The house is back in session with an agreement on its mind.

President Obama has made it public that he wants to get a deal done and is optimistic that it will happen.   Still, some people in the Panhandle aren't sure.

"If they make my taxes go up I'll be standing on the corner with my hand out," says Annabelle Patch of Kimball.

"Hope for the best and life is short, live it," says Betty Moore.

Currently Law–Makers just have a few days before the end of the year and the end of the cliff deadline.
