Liquor store owners across the nation expect their end of the year sales to *pop* to wrap up 2012.
Champagne and sparkling wine sales peak around this time of year, which has some retailers feeling *bubbly*.
Kelley's Liquor Cabinet in Scottsbluff's owner Gary Kelley expects to sell at least 30 cases worth of the festive drinks today alone.
"Champagne has always been an item for celebration. Celebrating the number one time of the year is New Years Eve."
Kelley says that about 80% of the champagne he sells is actually sparkling wine. Real champagne has to be imported from France to be the real deal.
