One Panhandle city is kicking off the New Year in a healthy way.
With an increase in memberships and drop ins, the Y.M.C.A facilities were busier than usual.
Ryan Num, the Y's Membership Director says they want to do whatever they can to help people improve their health and well being.
"In both membership and people coming in, I think it's just a good time. People are starting new on the new year and they're anxious to get those new year's resolutions off on the right foot."
Mumm says the Y also has new fitness classes for locals to mix and match.
