Minatare man found not guilty on meth charges

One of the nine people arrested in an October drug bust is found not guilty in Scotts Bluff District court.

35-year-old James Johnson of Minatare was initially charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine. One of those charges was dropped, and a jury found Johnson not-guilty on the second charge.

Johnson and eight others were arrested in October after a five month long investigation by the WING-Drug Task Force.
