Nebraska State Troopers say the legalization of marijuana in Colorado is leading to more drug arrests in Nebraska.
Trooper Dana Orwell, the WING Task Force Commander, says they've increased patrols in an effort to keep the drug out of the state.
Commander Korell reminds people that using or possessing marijuana is still illegal in Nebraska.
"It is high grade marijuana, most law enforcement in this part of the state because of our proximity to Colorado, we're spending quite a few resources on enforcement for the marijuana laws."
Korell says Nebraska Law Enforcement will continue to dedicate resources to handle the influx of marijuana in the state.
