Nebraskans are still suffering from the effects of the drought.
The University of Nebraska is working to help through some of those effects.
Karla Jenkins, a Cow Calf Range Management Specialist with the Extension Center says planning is the first step.
The University's "Ranching for Profitability" meetings, will be held across Nebraska to help ranchers with important decision making and prepare them to feed their cattle in 2013.
"Producers need to know what options they may or may not have for feeding cattle or maintaining a core herd that they haven't sold off."
Jenkins says they hold the meetings across Nebraska, so producers have the opportunity to attend close to home and each session is catered to their specific area.
