Rural Scottsbluff teen escapes injury in Thursday morning accident

A rural Scottsbluff girl escapes serious injury after driving her car into a ditch this morning.

The Scotts Bluff County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to an accident at the intersection of Country Roads 22 and D shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday.

Investigators say that 17-year old Tylii Muncie was driving southbound on County Road 22, and lost control of her vehicle.

Her car landed in the west-side ditch on its side.

Deputy Sheriff Jim Gaspers says that Muncie was able to climb out of the vehicle.

She was transported to Regional West Medical Center, but was treated and released.
