Sidney man dies in accidental shooting

Authorities say the fatal shooting of a man in Sidney was an accident.

Cheyenne County Attorney Paul Schaub says that 28-year-old Donald Vizina was at a friend's house in Sidney on Sunday evening. The friend told police that Vizina was handling a gun when it went off and the bullet struck Vizina.

Schaub says Vizina's fatal head wound was self-inflicted and accidental- not a suicide.
