One KOTA Territory city has a new golf cart ordinance.
Gering's city council passed and adopted a new golf cart ordinance.
With a beautiful golf course in the city's limits, it was necessary to create some rules for these little four wheeled vehicles.
The ordinance says golf carts will be allowed to drive in city limits, but only under certain circumstances.
The council also says there will be penalties for violating the ordinance.
City Clerk Kathleen Welfl laid down the golf cart law.
"To allow the operation of golf cart vehicles in corporate limits, under certain circumstances to impose restrictions on the use of golf car vehicles," Welfl said.
And of course, it's still illegal to drive your golf carts on highways.
