4H members have a new project.
Today, the Just Kidding Around 4-H Club hosted their first ever soup luncheon and cancer walk.
The event was held at the Scotts Bluff County Event Center, the perfect sized arena for a walk.
Some of the funds from the event go to 4H. Kristle ritterbush, a volunteer with Just Kidding Around says this year they'd like to get a new P.A. system for the goat show.
The other 50% goes to the Festival of Hope, for cancer research.
"Everybody's been really busy, all ready to eat lunch, but they're pretty excited and glad to give the money to a good cause."
Ritterbush says she's really enjoyed helping organize the new event and hopes next year will be just as successful.
