Gering superintendent position down to four candidates

The search for a new superintendent for Gering schools is down to four finalists.

The Gering School Board will begin the interview process tomorrow after their board meeting.

The finalists include Travis Miller, Bayard Superintendent, Robert Porter, Wallace Superintendent, Troy Unzicker, Kimball Superintendent and Bob Hastings, A former Scottsbluff principal. A committee will interview the candidates throughout the week.

Members of the committee hope to move quickly in a decision and offer the position to somebody a week from today.
