A Gering man will face charges in District Court after a judge found enough evidence for his involvement in a burglary earlier this month.
18-year-old Byron Stieb appeared in County Court this morning for his preliminary hearing.
Court documents say that Stieb and three friends ( Chantry Mann, Robbie Strauss and Shane Merrills) broke into a house, ransacked it, and stole items including electronics, a mattress, a rifle, and jewelry.
Prosecuting attorney Doug Warner says that based from prior statements, there is enough evidence to carry the court over to District Court.
