Congressman Adrian Smith expresses concern over the country's current state of gun control.
This morning, Smith spoke about the future of guns in our country. President Barack Obama requested Congress address 23 issues relating to guns, including background checks on all gun sales.
Smith says a reduction of violence is necessary... but doesn't believe undermining the second amendment of our constitution is the answer.
"But just a wholesale removal of certain kinds of guns, really, that doesn't get to the heart of the problem," says Smith.
Smith adds he does not feel that guns are the problem- it's the people.
