State lawmakers had a short work day at the capitol today.
Just two items were on the agenda this morning.
Senator Norm Wallman withdrew a bill that dealt with requirements for the usage of E-15 gas for the Department of Roads. And Senator Russ Karpisek withdrew a bill that changed the training and functions for dental hygienists in Nebraska.
"We inadvertently left out a committee amendment from a bill from last year that seems to be a negotiation between the hygienist and the dentist," explains Karpisek.
So far in this legislative session, 655 bills have been introduced, but there has not been any floor debates on the bills.
