Prosecutors are one step closer to getting justice for Juliette, a toddler killed more than four years ago.
Two warrants have been issued for Charyse Geurts and Dustin Chauncey, who are charged in the death of Juliette Geurts.
Charyse Geurts is charged with an accessory to a felony and chancery is charged with manslaughter, intentional child abuse and giving false information.
The toddler was found dead in her crib in 2008.
An autopsy report showed she died of blunt force trauma to the head.
Sheriff Mark Overman says that despite issuing arrest warrants, it will still take time to get convictions.
"On cases like these that are very serious charges, there's a lot of discovery; there's all sorts of things that are filed in court," Overman said.
Geurts is currently living in Wisconsin and Chauncey is currently incarcerated in Boulder, Colorado on a firearm and drug charge.
