One panhandle arts center hosts a day for the community to get involved with art.
The Western Nebraska Arts Center was open for its final day of the 2013 Juried Art Exhibit.
But the exhibit wasn't all that was on display, artists with the Western Nebraska Arts Guild came to show off their craft.
Mason Burbach, the Executive Director for the Western Nebraska Arts Center, says the artists wanted a way to get the community involved with art.
There was drawing, painting, crafts and even knitting.
All of the artists brought something different to the table and were happy to share it with others.
"It brings art back into society you know sometimes people can kind of be afraid of art. And it's just nice to come visit the gallery, see the people that create art and see what's involved," Burbach said.
