W.N.C.C enrollment numbers slightly down but campus visits up

Western Nebraska Community College is always striving to catch student's interest.

The college's enrollment for Spring is down, but visits on campus are way up.

Student Services Vice President Sue Yowell says the drop in enrollment doesn't mean a lot this early.

Yowell says full time enrollment is steady and as spring comes, the part time enrollment will grow.

She says the school's new Admissions Director and team are doing a great job.

"You know, we're unique because we support and serve 12 and a half counties in the panhandle and that's unique in itself. That's 17,000 square miles," Yowell said.

Yowell says they're only down 45 students right now, and hopes to see those enrollments soon.
