A jury is deliberating a verdict in the case of a Gering man charged with multiple counts of "Use of a weapon to commit a felony" and "Making terroristic threats."
Ray Camacho took the witness stand this morning, saying he did no wrong in a September incident where witnesses say they were threatened with a gun.
Camacho recounted a night of drinking and driving with friends, but says that at no point did he shoot a gun. Camacho says at the end of the evening, he did throw a friends pistol out of the car window after a sheriff's patrol car turned on its lights to pull them over.
The jury can deliberate until 9 p.m. If no verdict is reached, they'll continue deliberations in the morning.
