Western Nebraska Community College to hold "Envisioning the Future" meeting

Posted: Updated:

A KOTA Territory community college's administration plans for the future.

Western Nebraska Community College is in the early stages of its new master facilities plan.

The college's administration wants input from the community, faculty and students, on what they envision for the school's future.

An "Envisioning the Future" meeting will be held next week and is open to the public.

Sue Yowell, Vice President of Student Services says she's excited to get input from everyone on how they can make W.N.C.C better.

"We want to be competitive with other institutions around the country. We just finished our science facilities and we have state of the art science labs," Yowell said.

Yowell says the students enjoy the new labs and she hopes to improve the rest of the college's facilities with these future plans.
