Gering golf course restaurant welcomes new management

The city of Gering's golf course restaurant welcomes new management.

This week, the Gering City Council green–lit contract negotiations with a group headed by Gering businessman Sal Munoz.

The city had past issues securing an operator for the city–owned golf course restaurant.

The council will return for final contract approval by February 11th.

Munoz says the restaurant will serve a variety of food choices including breakfast burritos for early golf risers, and more upscale dining on the weekends.
