Eating super foods for the Super Bowl can help your health

With the Super Bowl right around the corner, incorporating super foods into your party spread can help your health.

Super foods like almonds, blueberries, spinach, salmon and avocado, all have great nutrients for your body.

These foods are rich in antioxidants, fiber and some have anti cancer benefits.

Incorporating these super foods into your Super Bowl party spread could save you from feeling bloated come Monday morning.

General Nutrition Center's Manager Chris Little says it's easier than you think and you'll feel a lot better.

"You definitely want to enjoy some of the foods, your favorites but a great way to sort of blunt the negative effects of unhealthy food is to include high fiber foods," Little said.

An easy way to incorporate super foods is use them as substitutes, like using avocado on wraps or sandwiches instead of mayonnaise.
