Panhandle vendors offer good ideas for Valentine's Day

Posted: Updated:

Finding the right gift for that special someone can be difficult, but folks in the Panhandle now have plenty of great ideas and gifts.

The 2nd Annual Love is in the Air event had a display of homemade goods made and sold by locals.

Some of the most popular items included jewelry and bath and body products.

Event Organizers Krista Pelster and Sheri Johnson say today's expo is great for the local economy.

"It's something that you can go out and do instead of having a party in your house, you don't have to clean you house and such," says Pelster.

"We try to support a lot of the small business here in town, a lot of us don't have shops that people can go to so it's a way to get together and help support each other," adds Johnson.
