Snow and wind whip through KOTA Territory this weekend, closing some highways in the panhandle.
While the storm dropped anywhere from 4 to 10 inches in the
area ... There was not a big need for snowplows in Scottsbluff.
The high winds were relentless, creating 2-5 foot
drifts in some areas. But by mid-morning, the sun had melted most of the
city's roads.
While the weather remains blustery, at least one local says
he's happy we're getting moisture.
"We need the moisture around here and we'll take what
we can get," says Marc Land, of Lang's Lawn Care. "But we sure would like to
have more."
Scottsbluff police say one small, weather-related accident
was reported in the early morning hours.
