The Alliance Chamber of Commerce helps one business start anew.
Thiele's Gifts and More had its ribbon cutting ceremony last Friday night in downtown Alliance.
The store- and former pharmacy- closed for a portion of last year after a gunman took the store owner hostage during an all day standoff.
The pharmacy portion of the business has since moved to the 25-hundred block of Box Butte Avenue.
But astounding support from the community made it a priority for owners Charles and Ellen Lierk to re-open the store that has been a downtown fixture for more than a century.
